RELEASE “Conexão Espanha” brings to Brasil great names of flamenco dance to minister workshops and direct a show side by side with brazilian artists. At the workshops, professionals and students are in contact with top artists style. Later on, with the material learned in these courses, some artists go to stage under the invited artists direction. The guest is usually the only solist. Eventually, there are also music workshops as well as invited musicians to join brazilian artists on stage. The Project is realized with “Toca Madera Produções” as partner, as well as with executive producers Camila Lopes and Maria Thereza Canário (Estúdio Bailado). HISTORY * January 2004 - Domingo Ortega – invited guitarist, Fernando De La Rua (workshop RJ); * August 2004 - Pol Vaquero (workshop RJ); * January 2005 - Domingo Ortega – invited guitarist Fernando De La Rua (workshop – RJ); * July 2005 - Pol Vaquero. – invited guitarist Rafael Fernandez (workshop and show RJ Teatro Carlos Gomes and Belo Horizonte Teatro Sesi); * October 2006 - Domingo Ortega (workshop RJ); * March 2007 - Pol Vaquero (workshop and show at Teatro Carlos Gomes RJ and Centro de Convivência in Campinas); * July 2007 – Inmaculada Ortega (workshop and show at Teatro Carlos Gomes RJ); * March 2008 –Pol Vaquero ( workshop and show at Centro de Convivência in Campinas and Teatro in Espirito Santo); * July 2008 – Domingo Ortega (workshop RJ) – With the choreographer and dancer colaborating with director Clara Kutner for the show Simplesmente Flamenco; * January 2009 – Inmaculada Ortega with invited guitarist Fernando De La Rua (workshop and show at Teatro Sesi in RJ).
